Moderated by Dr. Muhammad Ali Brohi from Shaikh Ayaz University, the session brought together young leaders to discuss transparency and innovation in carbon markets.<\/p><p>The session opened with remarks from Mr. Kashif Ali, Executive Director of Transparency International Pakistan, who outlined the session\u2019s objectives. He highlighted Pakistan\u2019s carbon market potential and emphasized the importance of youth in promoting ethical governance.<\/p><p>Following this, Ms. Fariha Fatima, Assistant Project Coordinator at TI Pakistan, shared a success story from the University of Peshawar, showcasing innovative student-led initiatives proposed by young leaders.<\/p><p>The key presentation was delivered by Ms. Raima Mehmood, Policy &amp; Research Coordinator at TI Pakistan, who provided a concise overview of Pakistan\u2019s carbon markets. She explained their function within the global framework of the Paris Agreement, discussed Pakistan\u2019s approach and challenges, and highlighted risks such as greenwashing, corruption, and fake carbon credits. She also emphasized the role of youth-driven innovation in carbon trading.<\/p><p>The session concluded with closing remarks from Ms. Raima Mehmood, who encouraged youth-led action in climate governance and urged participants to stay engaged in strengthening integrity in Pakistan\u2019s carbon
